Lol they suspended him for the first game of a back-to-back, he'd have probably had the night off anyway.

Nah not against against the Knicks at MSG on TNT. He would have taken the Pacers game off.

It honestly was just Memphis running up the score. Their weakest quarter was the first quarter with 31 points. From there they scored 41 points in the second and third quarter EACH. Meaning they had broken 100 in the third quarter and then some. Stupid to not just essentially play defense for all of the fourth quarter. Instead they chose to make the fourth quarter their second best quarter with 39...

The Grizzlies beat the Timberwolves 152 to 79 tonight, the largest margin of victory in NBA history.

Awesome feat the Grizzlies pulled off, since they were playing the Thunder!

But seriously, the previous biggest margin of victory was 68 points. Cavs over Heat in 1991. This was 73 points.

To be fair the COVID cases currently affecting the NBA (and basically all the sports leagues) are likely Omicron which the vaccination status of players is largely irrelevant to. Bigger issue is the league being hard-headed and plowing ahead as positive cases (largely asymptomatic and vaccinated) continue to pile up.

It seems the league (and owners) are so desperate to avoid postponements or stopping altogether that teams will be allowed to sign as many additional players as necessary to keep the games on.

And in doing so, spreading the virus to even more people.

Up to four players to ten day contracts. First one would count against the cap, next 3 would not.

I don't totally agree with it, but not sure what everybody wants the league to do, short of canceling the season, which the league will not do. Like I said, I don't agree with what they are doing, but postponing for a week or two isn't going to make COVID go away. And nobody wants a bubble again.
