The T-Wolves starting five of Josh Okogie, Jaden McDaniels, Nathan Knight, Malik Beasley and Jordan McLaughlin defeated a near-full strength Boston Celtics last night, however the main praise must go to Greg Monroe. He flew in to Minnesota, met the coach and team 30 minutes before tip-off, then came off the bench to play 24 minutes and racking up 11-9-6.

This season is bonkers. Eventually the wave of everyone testing positive will subside but the intervening few weeks will feature a ton of guys nobody knows of getting to contribute significant NBA minutes.

And hasn't played since the 18-19 season. Not bad.

Monroe was also the record 541st player to play in the NBA this season. It's December.

Klay Thompson will make his return tomorrow after not having played the last two years. As good as Golden State is playing and as much as I know it'll be harder with him around for my Jazz to get pass them, I'm excited to see him play again.

Me too. I hope he's still really good. The injuries and time off could have affected his play. Hoping for a strong comeback.

I love goofy All Star selections that the fans latch onto. Andrew Wiggins is more just a guy who got voted in because fans of his teams outnumbered voters from other teams though.

As bad as the Jazz played in January, I realized that a ton of it was injuries and COVID. But, Joe Ingles tearing his ACL and it potentially being the end of his career has me questioning everything about sports and basketball. Worst month ever.

The funniest part is that Maxey is such a good player the Sixers don't really miss him.

It's the Tobias Harris situation that's killing that team. Despite Embiid beginning to cruise to MVP.
