Neither team could win the custody for Caicedo

Didn't really teach us anything that game from a Liverpool perspective. There's a lot of potential but glaringly obvious gaps. Hope we don't piss about the rest of the transfer window

Feel like we're going to hear all week about Salah wants to leave Liverpool now or something daft because he had a tantrum about being subbed out early.

Im sure we will despite it being something Salah has always had a habit of doing

Oh for sure! That's just Mo.

I thought the result was fair. Both could've won it late on. We would have if Darwin could've controlled the pass in the box from MacAllister. But we desperately need a 6, and another CB. Everyone screaming about a LCB cover online but I would much rather a proper RCB cover for Konate because he's not going to stay fit all season, and Gomez/Matip just cannot play like he does. Konate covers so much ground for Trent. He's our most important CB now imo.

A man has died after being injured at Everton's new football stadium which is being built in Liverpool.

The 26-year-old was taken to hospital at about 12:30 BST after being hurt on the construction site at Bramley Moore Dock, Merseyside Police said.

The force said the man's family had been informed and an investigation was in the early stages.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) said it had officials "on-site" who were making inquiries.

The new ground on the banks of the River Mersey is expected to be completed in late 2024, after which the club will leave their current home at Goodison Park, which opened in 1892.

Wolves extremely unlucky to lose that game. Should have had a pen at the end.

A better team would have blown them away tonight but a wins a win

Jammy win. Thought it was more of a coming together than anything, wasn't like he took him out after the attacker had won the ball. Couldn't have complained if it had been given though really.

He did a better phenomenal forearm than AJ Styles...
