Everton make three changes from the side which was beaten by Manchester City nine days ago. Ross Barkley, Steven Naismith and Aiden McGeady are in an attacking line-up. QPR make four changes from the side which beat Burnley. Charlie Austin is of course banned so it looks like a change of system, with Eduardo Vargas, Matty Phillips and Junior Hoilett in attack. Defender Steven Caulker - who definitely didn't cut his head open in a fight - is not in the side.

Everton: Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman, Besic, Barkley, Mirallas, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku.

QPR: Green, Yeung, Dunne, Onuoha, Isla, Phillips, Barton, Fer, Mutch, Hoilett, Vargas.
