Setanta were bought out by Eir over here too, who are the biggest broadband provider. We now get free BT Sport now, as well as a rebranded Setanta, now Eir Sport.

Sky Sports will also show 3pm kick offs exclusively in Ireland now, yay! All this the year Newcastle get relegated

• Sturridge to score 20+ goals! 

Really looking forward to the new season though, it's shaping up to be an awesome one!

I decided to take a break for a lot of my usual internet activities about 18 months ago because I really needed to lose some weight and become more active. Since then I just don't really go on my laptop much anymore. I have missed this place though, especially during the footy season!

Apparently Thierry Henry has left Arsenal after Wenger said he needed to quit his Sky role to continue as a member of the U18s coaching staff, and he wouldn't.

Apparently he can still do sessions there just not in an official capacity, and is being replaced by Tony Adams.

I'm sort of with Wenger. If Henry was serious about his coaching badges (especially as there was a lot of criticism of how fast the FAW gave him his 'A' licence) he perhaps should have considered the decision a bit more instead of taking the easy money at Sky. Plus, he spends weekends talking about Arsenal players, for better or worse, on tele then goes to work alongside them in training.

Perhaps Henry is just not a very good coach and this is Wenger being clever in removing him and not getting much of a backlash over it.
