What's actually happened the last few seasons to end up in a mess? It looks like the club has lost its identity in a way compared to the first few seasons where it was like "This is Swansea, this is how we play." You had some decent players then just seemed to get rid of them and not adequately replace them.

Now it just feels like the club that's been hovering around the relegation zone last few seasons and will inevitably be going down at some point ala Sunderland, Wigan etc.

"The Swansea Way" hasn't been a thing on the pitch since the early days of Monk. It's disappointing to see it gone, but the football was still satisfying to watch for much of this year. But the football is absolutely dire this year due to the quality of the players, Clement's trust in them and his tactics.

The chairman, Huw Jenkins, has become the Director of Football, and has subsequently overseen transfer policy (this is partly due to dodgy dealings involving Laudrup and the agents of his transfer targets). This has seen him bring in players that either the mangers don't want, back-up players from midtable to relegation-threatened sides, and spending big money on players that don't perform (Borja Baston - £15m, Sam Clucas - £18m). We've sold off our top scorers for three seasons in a row, and failed to adequately replace them due to Jenkins' bad decision-making and unnecessary cost-cutting measures.

Swansea want to talk to Koeman and Bilic, but not Pulis, according to Sky sources.

The Football Association has said it will take no action over the tunnel clashes which followed Manchester City’s win at Manchester United this month.

Police officers and stewards had to separate up to 20 players and members of staff from the clubs after a bust-up in which bottles and punches were thrown and Mikel Arteta, one of City’s coaches, was left with blood streaming down his face.

The FA said in a statement: “Following a review of the evidence provided by the clubs and independent eyewitnesses the FA will be taking no formal action.”

Each club believed the other to be culpable and it is thought the FA received contrasting accounts of what happened.

Thought the FA may have tried to milk both Manchester clubs for a couple of extra quid. Christmas parties don't pay for themselves!
