I take some joy out of them being the first team to start unranked and make it to the playoffs. Hopefully this is something to build on.

This evening: Surefire first round pick and possible top 10 pick Matt Corral gets carted off the field at the Sugar Bowl.

Joe Foucha has announced that he's entering the transfer portal. He's the senior defensive captain for the Razorbacks. 

Speculation is that he got poached on a NIL deal by LSU.

Yeah the big speculation of Caleb Williams is he got a huge NIL deal to go elsewhere (Georgia leading the rumors).

It's weird and the pendulum on NIL is going to swing the other way at some point as more and more players are basically swiped up on NIL deals with uncomfortably close ties to the school they agree to play at.

I assume Nike and Jordan brand will try to stay above the fray but can you imagine the furor if a guy transfers to Oregon and inks a deal with Nike right after?

I've always thought that there should be a punishment for transferring to another team in the same conference. Like making you sit out the first game you're eligible to play in against your old team.

Bumper Pool is forgoing the NFL draft to come back as a 5th year senior for the Razorbacks, meaning we get to have one more year of a guy named Bumper Pool on the team.

Hopefully the injury Jameson Williams suffered isn't too bad and does not affect his draft stock. The way he just crumpled down to the ground is never a good sign...

Williams was walking around relatively fine so it led me to think it was a sprain. Also word that he was trying to go back in, something typically not seen after a severe injury.
