I'm pretty certain Janoris Jenkins and Eli Apple were the two anonymous Giants ripping McAdoo.  Neither guy looks the least bit interested in playing right now.  Some of the worst tackling efforts I've ever seen.

Browns are the first team since the Houston Oilers of 83 and 84 to start 0-9 in consecutive seasons. Back during legendary CFL coach Hugh Campbell's short stay in the NFL. Campbell, of course, lured CFL superstar Warren Moon to Houston.

I'm really glad the Patriots appear to be rounding into the Super Bowl favorites we all thought they'd be.  Good for them.  I was worried they were going to be underwhelming this year and that they'd have to face adversity.  They deserve a break to go their way.

They're not doing anything any more impressive than the other teams that have kicked Denver's face in the last month and a half.

Everybody (not EWB, but in my real life life) laughed at me when I always said Wade Phillips was the genius that had the defense playing the way that it was. You can have the best talent in the world, but if you don't have a coordinator that knows how to properly utilize them, they're about as worthless as mediocre talent.

Wade Phillips is a top 5 coordinator all-time. Everywhere he goes they win. Rams are possible NFC favorites because of how good he made that defense, which has taken stress off the offense and allowed them to just let it rip and the results of that have been pretty good. His last few stops, San Diego, Houston, and Denver he instantly turned them into playoff-caliber defenses. There's also a rather comical drop-off of teams after he leaves them as a coordinator.

I said it when he got hired by the Rams that they were gonna finally meet their potential on defense. He is an average head coach but he deserves a spot in Canton for what he's been able to accomplish as a coordinator.

I've slept on it and I actually think the Jags could make the playoffs this year.

Eh, it's not the best challenge to make since the ball was pretty clearly coming out before he touches the pylon.

It was just a stupid challenge to make. Had the ball on the goal line basically, could have just had Howard punch it in for a TD.  Gets turned into a turnover instead.

The Buffalo Bills have benched Tyrod Taylor. Bills coach Sean McDermott told reporters that rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman will start against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
