Ravens blowing out the Lions, but Jimmy Smith's achilles just went out so that's it for the 2017 edition of this team. Just as the offense started getting rolling too.

Yup, it's torn.

Elsewhere, Matt Stafford has apparently just bruised his throwing hand. And Tyrod Taylor is probably going to be OK too.

Lost 32-16 and drop to 5-7, Rams are a good team but that's a lot of points to give up. I was so sick of the Cards being a "nearly" side for a few years but now I'd really like to be back at that level, because this is the pits. Looking like a first *proper* losing season since 2012, when bloody John Skelton was at QB.

Speaking of injuries... the 6-6 Packers plan to have Rodgers come back on Dec. 17. That means their last game without will be against the woeful Browns. Assuming they win that they'll be 7-6 and still in the thick of the playoff hunt, lot of NFC South matchups mean those teams can all beat up on each other.

It's gonna be real interesting in the NFC, everything except East and North division champs are still very much in play. We also have an inexplicable 3-way tie in the AFC West as the Chiefs freefall continues.
