It was really inexcusable by the Bears D to have nobody covering Watkins on the play that set up the TD. That comes down to coaching/coordinators making sure everyone had the right assignments. It's not like the Ravens only had to get in FG range.

The end of a regime like this is always tough on a fanbase but at the end of the day they were contenders for most of it, got a Super Bowl out of it, and really should've had two if not for the worst play call in the history of football.

A lot of fanbases sign up for that kind of run in a heartbeat.

I actually think it's the opposite. They're locking up guys to show whichever veteran they chase that they have weapons that will be there a bit. They will have a ton of space so can accommodate a Rodgers type even after these WR moves.
