Caleb maybe purely because he’s a rookie they might want to get a series or two of reps.  Stroud almost certainly not.  Starters rarely play at all during the HOF game.  Teams definitely view the extra preseason game as a hindrance rather than an honor.

Lamar Jackson played just a few series in the HOF game after we drafted him. And he was one of a handful of guys in that game who even had a shot at making the week 1 roster.

Best of luck to him. I remember when Christian Wade went out there to the Bills, scored a ridiculous touchdown on his first carry for them and then was barely seen again before going back to rugby after three years of nothing. It'll be a challenge but hopefully he can break through and do something, getting into that Chiefs team doesn't seem too likely but hopefully can find a way through.
