My transfer budget for the January transfer window was £1.5m. Whatever, did a couple of cheap deals and then just sat back to wait until the window closes. Although, since I did have a couple of players I fancied selling if possible, I decided to 'join in' with the Deadline Day malarky.

Then this happens:

How did this happen? Never once has it worked for me! Did it say anything about it being a harsh red originally?

I've had two overturned since I started, both were useless decisions so I wasn't overly surprised the appeals worked.

My assistant told me it was a bad decision and an appeal would probably work. And it did!

Out of interest - what teams do people tend to play as? I always have a Leicester game and a bottom english league game going on, but it seems most people here just dive into top of the Premier League level games.

I tend to go Kilmarnock and see what happens from there. I only play FM once or twice a month really, but when I do I return to my FM12 game where I started at Kilmarnock, moved to QPR then moved to Liverpool. I like that game, it's the min reason I've not got any of the new titles.

I always start with a Spurs game and play it as long as it interest me. Then i'll start an unemployed/lower league game.

I've started an unemployment game, I love the job interviews, Watford board told me where to shove my philosophies. So I got the Leeds job when I was trying to really f that one up, but that board will listen to anything.

No surprise, but generally a Chelsea save and a "dicking about" (aka diary) save.

I also had the British Steel Challenge save last year...which I never finished. Kind of get nostalgic for my Premier League-winning Notts County side though.

Currently have games as United, Yeovil (south represent yo), England (won the world cup and not a lampard, gerrard or cole in sight) - that transitioned into two other saves as Bolton and Everton - one as Belgium and I have one as Plymouth Argyle.
