Here's the biggest concern. Fulham, Manchester United, Newcastle, and Everton ALL showed more desire and determination than us. Bournemouth gave up after 10 minutes. We only really showed desire vs Palace after the Nunez red card.

Liverpool squad has a serious mentality problem. IDK if it's because of last season ending in such a disappointment, tired of being second best, run into the ground, or what... but it's pretty clear that in almost every match, Liverpool have been second best.

A similar predicament to Chelsea, atm. The only team we've looked determined against was Spurs.

At least Chelsea were up for their derby! We've looked our worse when playing the derbies

But Chilwell and Havertz have turned it around~! 😃

...For a few seconds. <_<

But VAR to the rescue! (I would have let that count tbh)

Fucking got away with that one. Not that WH threatened much, but we were a shambles when they did manage to get into the box, and their header against the post at 1-1 would have ended it. A draw would have been the fair result. Annoyed that it required conceding a goal for the Chelsea players to play with any tempo or impetus whatsoever, but pleased they pulled it off. Chilwell's goal was cheeky af.

Bah. 5-2 feels a little harsh as we weren't bad it anything but felt very susceptible to the break. Hopefully this is an anomaly as we've looked a bit more defensively sound after the days of shipping goals for fun under Bielsa, even if we still have looked a little shaky at times. Bamford had some encouraging signs after coming on and should have scored at least 1 so hopefully things start to click when he gets up and running.

Still, this little winless run does start to look a bit worrying so we definitely need to get a result against Forest, especially since we're at home.

Seen that Paul Tierney is the ref for our game tomorrow.

He's literally from Old Trafford. Surely there should be a rule against that? There is in La Liga iirc.

At least we'll still be top after tomorrow regardless how it goes.
