The Jags have announced, that in compliance with state and local authorities, TIAA Bank Field will seat approximately 25% of its capacity at each home game this season.

I'd love to say I'm surprised at how much support the Jacksons and Farrakhan have gotten, but, sadly, I am not. Prejudices exist across every divide and there are people on all sides happy to exploit those prejudices for power and profit.

Malcolm Jenkins has been one of the most vocal social justice advocates in the league yet all he could muster on the DeSean Jackson situation was apparent annoyance that it might take focus away from BLM.  “Jewish people aren’t our problem and we aren’t their problem, we have work to do and this ain’t it.“

So apparently you can only combat one type of hate at a time and it’s okay to sit it out if it’s not a type of hate that impacts you personally.

New name won't be unveiled straight away. So for now they're just going to be "Washington".

I remember the Washington team name being part of the post-war Native Americans module debates while I was at university. I think it was the only debate where the entire class, even my contrarian friend who only half-ironically supported Romney, Trump, Farage, et. al, agreed on an issue.

Glad to see the name finally being changed.
