An American runner has been praised as a true Olympian after stopping mid-race to help a fallen rival on to her feet. Abbey D'Agostino helped New Zealand's Nikki Hamblin who was lying dazed on the track after the two entangled and fell in the 5,000m heats in Rio. It was then Hamblin's turn to help D'Agostino, hanging back to encourage the injured American, who hobbled over the line in last place.

I don't normally like hockey at all but I enjoyed watching the women's semi final between GB and New Zealand. Great win for GB, into their first ever Olympic final.

One of the girls took a nasty shot right to the face at one stage as well, came away with a huge bump on her chin as a result.

Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz, said to be with Ryan Lochte the night he was supposedly robbed at gunpoint, got pulled off the plane trying to leave Rio.

All of this comes after Brazilian authorities wanted Lochte's passport suspended to prevent him from leaving, not realizing he had already gone back to the US.

This could get really bad.

USA just went 1,2 & 3 in the Women's 100M Hurdles. The one who got third seemed to come out of nowhere to make it an all USA podium.
